This is my second invitation to Project Ethos. An event that is held during Los Angeles Fashion Week. Project Ethos is a fashion show, live concert and art gallery combined under one roof, on one night. This is an event that is open to both the industry and the public.
Retail buyers, showroom reps, gallery curators, art collectors, media reps and consumers came together to discover emerging talent in an array of presentations.
I was lucky enough to do an editorial for Trend Privè Magazine for this months issue. Read Below:

With the closing of Juicy Couture’s Boutiques, attached is an article I wrote for Hit The Floor Magazine. The creators of Juicy Couture, Pam and Gela, who sold the line several years ago have moved on to start a new line. With their “Do Not Compete Clause” up, they are ready for more. Read below to see what their up to!

So, as you all know, I am a contributing writer from Hit The Floor Magazine, and I love to share my posts with my audience. My first love of writing is on fashion, but my second is on music, especially EDM so I’m sharing a post I wrote on a dance music artist named Tom Swoon. Click the link below

I am just loving this sneaker trend right now. Although these type of sneakers aka kicks have been around for years, they are being re-invented in several ways by several designers. If you grew up in the 80’s like myself ( Gosh, did I really just give my age away?) LOL, you remember the style of sneakers such as Adidas, Puma, Nike, and Gola. I remember wearing my pumas with the original Adidas track outfit or my “pegged” Levi’s jeans. That was to me known as the original hip hop look started by RUN DMC, Kurtis Blow and other best known rappers of the day. But now there’s been a resurgence of the sneaker and wearing them are not just limited to wearing them with your track suit or jeans.
These are the original of originals Adidas Super Star 2 Sneakers $68.99 Dr Jays.com
For a different look on the Adidas front, try the Basket Profi Up Wedge Shoe $90 Adidas
I absolutely love these Camouflage-print leather, canvas and suede sneakers. The colors are just fabulous. These can be worn with a denim skirt, mid length skirt, jeans, or with just about anything. Valentino $795 Net-a-porter
Did I say I loved these yet? Well, I do, and I totally want. These Maison Martin Margiela can be worth with just about any casual outfit. $475 Net-a-porter
The perfect wedge sneaker and plus it’s a classic! Puma Sky Wedge Chambray Sneakers $60 Puma
Does anyone else remember these? Gola has been around for years and they may have possibly started the striped suede sneaker look. Ł50 Gola

Well, I had my airfare booked, my press application through Hit The Floor Magazine approved and I was ready to go to Miami to the Ultra Music Festival. Unfortunately because of my ongoing neurological issues, which caused a new problem to arise, I had to cancel my trip to Miami. You don’t even know how it pained me to let the Editor/Founder of Hit The Floor know I wasn’t able to attend. To this day I am so bummed about it and listening to Sirius XM Electronic broadcast live from Miami just twists the knife even more, but hey, I’m doing to myself right?
I can’t help it, I am an EDM junkie and always have been. But even though I’m not able to physically be there, doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy myself with listening to the worlds best EDM DJ’s and that I am doing. Listening to Hardwell, Avicii, Diplo, Cedris Gervais and more eases the pain just a bit. Hopefully with the next music festivals coming up, I’ll get my accreditation and get to interview some that I’m not able to this time around. I guess things happen for a reason right? I keep trying to tell myself that LOL! Enjoy!

Birkenstocks have been around for quite some time and to be honest, I have never been a fan. Ok, so I’ve been told “they are so comfortable though”, they may be comfortable but not fashionable right? Well, to satisfy the comfort and fashion, several designers have decided to glamify them up. Isabel Marant put her spin on the whole Birkenstock look for spring. On another trip to Nordstrom Galleria Roseville, I took a loop around the shoe department to see what new shoes they had in. Take a look below and see what I discovered on my trip. I just may have to give this whole Birkenstock look a try!
These are just too cute, I didn’t have time to try on, but I will on my next visit!!
