About Adrielyn

I am an obsessed fashion and beauty product lover and to me fashion is art. I love everything about the industry from the clothing to the shoes to the accessories and more. After obtaining my Mortgage Brokers License and from there owning a mortgage company for 10 yrs, I decided I wanted to run a clothing boutique. I successfully ran the boutique for 3 years. Unfortunately, I was rear ended in an auto accident in 2010 that left me with nerve damage on the right side of my body, and left me unable to do a “normal” job. I became so depressed and started to use shopping as my therapy. So one day as my husband and I were talking about this bad habit, I realized, I can talk about shopping and fashion! It would help with a) my shopping habit b) help my depression. That’s when I started writing and expressing my obsession about the fashion and beauty industry. It has become my therapy and has helped so much. It has helped take my mind off of the negative aspects of my pain. This journey has helped me meet the most amazing people in the publishing world and because of them, they are giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts from fashion to beauty and even music. In addition, I’ve been given the most amazing opportunities to write press releases, interview designers and musicians. One look at my blog and you’ll see that I have a deep love for the world of fashion, beauty and music and just can’t stop talking about it.

  1. Sorry to have arrived late, or maybe I am just one of those party goers that won’t go home, cos I actually started this party yesterday morning at 5am. Just taking me a while to get my fill of the many wonderful blogs I am discovering.

  2. Hi! I was at Kate’s Maison Bently Style party on Sunday, but have only just got around to visiting you…

I have been learning to draw/paint since 2010. This summer, in some workshops at an exhibition of Condé Nast photographs, I was introduced to fashion as a source of inspiration. It was enlightening to see the ways that fashions could be portrayed. You said it right: fashion is art. It is early days, but I’ve been drawn to exploring more of this world – which is how I ended up at the party!

Your blog posts are great! Plenty to inspire me. Although I’m on a blog-diet and am limiting how many people I follow, there’s no question about whether to follow yours. I look forward to seeing more from you!

    1. Hi there! I thank you so much for your kind and inspirational words. I also thank you for taking the time to read my blog and follow it. I really feel honored that you feel that way because there are times when I question myself. There are so many other blogs from the party that I still have to visit. I will take the time out to visit and follow your!! Thanks so much!
